アメリカのアパラチア地方のコレクションである。分量も多 い。"Quick Search" で "ballad" を探すと257点が出てくる（ただし、このすべてが「バラッド」ではない）。録音を聞くには各ページの上部にある "Access this item." をクリック。"short excerpt" も含まれている。テクストはない。

アメリカ議会図書館のサイト（主に1930-40年代のフィールド録音）。"Child ballad" では32点、"ballad" では135点が収録されている。テクストが付いていないものが多い。mp3, Real Audio, wav のフォーマットが用意されている。
なお、録音資料 のほうは公開されていないが、"Child Ballads Traditional in the United States" (Bertrand H. Bronson が編修した２巻のLP；CD版は出ていない) のテクストとライナー・ノーツが American Memory にある。
